Terms & Conditions

Our hire period for the use of the chinaware and accessories is 1-3 days. 

If you would like the items for longer, please contact us to discuss your requirements.

CONDITIONS OF HIRE

  • The prices listed are for a one day hire, which covers 3 days (delivery, your event, collection).

  • All items remain the property of Caroline's Vintage.

  • When placing an order, a deposit of 20% is required to secure the booking. You can cancel your order anytime, however the deposit paid is non-refundable if you cancel less than 30 days prior to your event. Cancellations are only accepted in writing by email.

  • We will contact you prior to the date of delivery to re-confirm and finalise arrangements.  The remaining balance is to be paid 7 days prior to delivery. We accept payment only via bank transfer. 

      Our minimum order is £25.00.

  • If you would like to add additional items after booking, please contact us and we will do our very best to accommodate you.

  • Our vintage china is supplied free of chips/cracks, however please be advised there may be some signs of wear.

  • All items hired from Caroline's Vintage will be entirely at the risk of the hirer. The hirer will be responsible for any loss or damage until items are returned or collected.

  • A detailed inventory must be signed by the hirer upon delivery.

  • Caroline's Vintage will not accept responsibility for any injury to personnel or damages to property caused by the hire equipment.

  • Damage deposit policy. A deposit of £40.00 for up to 20 people or 50% of the hire charge for 20+ people will be required when the balance is paid. The deposit will be refunded once all of the items have been returned and inspected for any damage (including cracks, chips or breakages) or loss.

The following charges apply for items lost or damaged -

  • Cups, Saucers, Side Plates £5.00

  • Sugar Bowls & Milk Jugs £5.00

  • Cake Plates & Cake Stands £5.00 per plate

  • Teapots £30.00

  • Cutlery £5.00 per item

  • Tablecloths £20

  • Vases £7.00

  • Decorated Jars £5.00

  • Suitcase £30.00

DELIVERY

  • You are very welcome to collect your hire from us.

  • Delivery is free for orders over £50.00 within a 15 mile radius of Malvern, Worcestershire.

  • Orders over 15 miles or under £50.00 are charged at 50p per mile plus a £10.00 surcharge.

We offer a free washing up service. Please return items dirty.​

Please scrape plates, empty sugar bowls, jugs and teapots before re-packing or a cleaning surcharge may apply. Please use the bubble wrap provided to wrap chinaware.

Please wrap teapots & lids separately to avoid breakages in transit.
